For 25 years, I have been a psychologist helping people to improve their relationships, to feel better about themselves and to make positive changes in their lives. I provide individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults, couples counseling, and family therapy. At my offices in Walnut Creek and Oakland, I see people who have wide range of emotional and behavioral difficulties. In addition to doing psychotherapy, I have been supervising and training graduate psychology students for over 20 years. I was an Adjunct Professor at John F. Kennedy University for over 20 years where I taught training seminars and supervised graduate students doing psychotherapy with clients at JFKU Counseling Center. Recently, I was the Attending Pediatric Psychologist for 4 years in the Department of Pediatrics at Highland Hospital where I ran a Pediatric Psychology Training Program supervising and training graduate psychology students and consulting with the pediatricians. Currently, I provide individual and group supervision for for staff therapists at Ann Martin Center. I am also a consultant for licensed therapists.
Please call or email me if you are interested in discussing your concerns about psychotherapy for yourself, your child, your adolescent, your relationship or your family. I will be happy to talk with you, answer questions, hear about your concerns and discuss whether therapy and my therapeutic approach is right for you.
